Currently they have some seventy international students, day and boarding.

St John's Heritage

The school was founded in 1908 by a Lasallian community of Catholic Brothers established by John Baptiste De La Salle and they aim to follow his vision in both their academic and pastoral care.  They are a Christian school, however they are inclusive and all are welcome – those of other faiths or none.  St John's School are part of the world-wide Lasallian community, which has a network of schools in over 80 countries.

St John's Boarding School

The boarding community has been integral to the life of St John’s ever since their foundation.  Boarders range in age from 9 to 18 years, and come from a wide variety of backgrounds – including overseas and service families.

Each house has its own kitchen and lounge with television and video facilities. Skype facilities and Wi-Fi are available.  All six boarding houses are securely situated on the main school site, which means their Boarders make full use of the school’s facilities in the evenings and at weekends.  In addition, the College is a short walk to the seafront and Gunwharf Quays, which offers shops, restaurants, a 14-screen cinema and bowling – so when it is time for their students to relax there is plenty to do!
